RevenueCat Integration

Connect RevenueCat and attribute subscription revenue from web billing to the visitors, pages, and referrers that drive it.

RevenueCat Integration

Today, I'm happy to announce that Visitors now supports RevenueCat as a revenue integration.

When we launched revenue attribution, we only supported Stripe. That covered a lot of ground, but if you're using RevenueCat to manage your subscriptions, you were left out. That changes today.

How it works

RevenueCat Web Billing processes payments through Stripe under the hood. So when you connect your Stripe account in Visitors, RevenueCat transactions automatically start flowing in through the same webhook pipeline we already use.

Head to integrations in your project settings and connect your Stripe account. Once connected, any charges that come through RevenueCat will appear alongside your existing Stripe data.

The one difference from a regular Stripe integration is how we match transactions to visitors. With RevenueCat Web Billing, you don't control the checkout session, so you can't pass the visitor cookie as metadata like you would with a custom Stripe Checkout setup. Instead, we match by email. You'll need to identify your visitors with their email, and when a charge comes through, we'll attribute it to the right visitor automatically.

You can follow the full setup in our RevenueCat docs.

Revenue everywhere

Once connected, RevenueCat revenue shows up in all the same places you're used to. Your timeseries, your breakdowns, visitor profiles, realtime. It all works the same way as it does with Stripe.

If you're already using Stripe directly alongside RevenueCat, both sources combine into a single view. You don't need to toggle between anything.

Multi-currency

Just like with Stripe, we handle currency conversion automatically. Transactions come in with whatever currency the customer paid in, and we convert everything to your display currency using daily exchange rates. All major currencies are supported.

Closing thoughts

RevenueCat is our second revenue integration after Stripe, and there are more on the way. The goal is to support as many payment providers as we can so that no matter how you're collecting revenue, you can attribute it back to the visitors that drove it.

If you're using RevenueCat Web Billing, head to your project's integration settings and connect your Stripe account to get started.
